I designed this pen about six years ago. It was an edition of 55 pens, each one hand painted , signed and numbered by Russian artist Inessa Kombarova. As the legend goes, the Emperor of Japan proclaimed that the five toed Dragons were the symbol of the royal family and was used on the Imperial seal. Anyone having a document with that seal attached was permited to travel anywhere in China under the Emperor's protection.

This pen is brand new, never dipped or inked, and comes with a 14k medium nib, converter filler, original factory boxes and documentation. Serial number 13/55, it took one month to complete each pen. The pen was produced for us by Stipula pen and is warranted by them, the clip also has an engraved Dragon on it with a genuine cabochon ruby.
